About the Book:
It’s what Ryan Sloan values most. Control of his business, control of his secrets, control of his days and nights. With the way his life spiraled in the past, he needs to stay in charge of his present.
Giving up control.
It’s what Sophie Winston craves. After a wildly successful career, she’s stepped away from the business world and is now focused on her work as her city’s most noted philanthropist.
When she meets Ryan Sloan, the chemistry is scorching, and utterly undeniable. Their desire for each other runs red hot. He wants everything she’s willing to give him in bed, and she wants him to take her to new heights as only he can.
Soon, he has to have more. All of her — heart, mind and body.
The only trouble is, he hasn’t been honest about how he met her and the dangerous connection he has to her brother.
When the truth is revealed, he’ll have to give more of himself than he’s bargained for or risk losing the only woman he’s ever let into his heart.

Eve Hart's Romance Review:
This is the second, and definitely won't be that last, Lauren Blakely book I've read. This is one of the best, if not THE BEST, near-erotic (bordering on hardcore erotica) romances I've ever read.
What can I say... OH YEAH - This book is F@#*KING HOT! I never thought I'd enjoy this book as much as I did. Because it is a Lauren Blakely book, I knew it would be off-the-charts sexy, but she really ratcheted up the HEAT by making Ryan one of the filthiest alpha males I've ever had the pleasure to read. My GOD! That man can turn something as mundane and wholesome as pie into an erotic wet dream - with just his WORDS!
I liked how he took control in and out of the bedroom, and I also LOVED how he allowed himself to become vulnerable with Sophie. She was a sweetie -- although I did have a SLIGHT problem with her. She was too damn EASY. Hell, I know Ryan is a god among men, but be a LITTLE harder to get. She CAME all over him while waiting in the wings at a charity benefit! She didn't even know his last name for whore's sake! While I didn't like how easily Ryan captured her and dominated her, I liked how she softened him and didn't become a raging bitch harpy. I hate harpies. As I always say, there's a difference between writing independent female characters and writing straight-up bitches. Bitches don't get happy endings.
The mystery with Ryan's parents, and the tightknit, love of his family added depth to a story overflowing with warm fuzzies and HOT sex.
I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this book, and I WILL be reading and reviewing Colin's story.
