About the Book:
When Emma meets him, the only way she's looking to be tied down is in the literal sense. But Avner—shady hacker, off-the-books investigator, occasional spy—takes her breath away. He's the first man who doesn't turn to mush under her sexual spell: a fact that makes what's between them very different, and very real.
Beautiful and uninhibited, Emma is everything Avner thought she would be and more. Yet his deadly past and dark duties can never be forgotten…not even as he succumbs to their seductive intimacy. But for the first time he's after something of his own, as well.
And now that he's found Emma, he'll protect her, no matter what. Because anything worth loving is worth fighting for.
But nothing about Avner is remotely harmless.
Soon, Avner has infiltrated Emma's personal life, stalled her career and nearly destroyed everything she's worked for—all in the name of protection. Desperate and heartbroken, drawn into a secret criminal underworld in her quest for understanding, Emma discovers the truth: Avner's secrets are far more devastating than his lies.

Lie to Me All You Want, Just Don’t Stop!
In this tale, we dig deeper into who Avner is, his past, his predilections, and his overwhelming desire for the blonde bombshell who smiled seductively at him one night on a balcony.
Avner is a dark, intense, rich as hell man with a tragic yet uplifting past. He is haunted by his demons and determined to exorcise them no matter what it takes. He is as sexy as hell, and honestly, who doesn’t love a wealthy, brooding, experienced lover?
Emma is all about immediate gratification, and she wants Avner like nothing else she’s ever seen. I like that she is independent, brilliant, and laser-focused on her work—with a few detours to Hot Sex Town with Avner.
While the tone of the book was dark, it wasn’t as intense as I’d hope it would be. I guess I am a little into intense, dark, and possessive these days.
I didn’t like that Avner, like Haithem before him, just let the woman he wanted walk away in some sort of dumbass attempt to keep her safe. It didn’t work with Haithem and Angelina, and it didn’t work with Emma. No one is safe with these men around, in the bedroom or in the world of assassins and corporate sabotage. Also, with as much possessiveness and dark desire he contains in his rock hard body, Avner should have pursued Emma--like dogged her and seduced her at every turn. She was worth it. It shouldn't have just fallen into place like that. Avner lied to Emma, kept secrets from her. Sure, he saved her life, but he should have been a little more...apologetic for being such as ass.
Overall this book sucked me in, made me suck my lip in yearning, and kept me hot, bothered, and at the edge of my seat from the very first page.
Again, well done, Amber. Please give me more sexy, brooding men to fall in love with!
