Wicked Awesome Read
Their love story begins slowly and builds to a quick burning inferno. But when the unthinkable happens and her father dies, Tyler feels guilty and thinks that the events are a sign from his father to leave the town behind and pursue his music career. Avery is left to deal with her father’s death and the guilt she feels for the situation that took him from her and her grandmother. The story then picks up three years later, and Avery now owns a bar in her adopted hometown. Tyler comes breezing back into her life and I want to kick him in his twigs and berries for being a double douche bag. He left her crying, desperate to be loved and held by the man she loved.
She is much stronger than I thought she would be. She forgives him and allows him back into her life and introduces him to his daughter that he never knew about. I would have made him suffer a bit before allowing him into the life of my daughter, especially since he is the one who left her to begin with. The story is a great one filled with forgiveness, love, family, and of course, the lighthearted feeling of young love rekindled. I may have felt Avery was too nice to Tyler when he waltzes back into town, but in the end, I couldn’t help but laugh and cry at the true love story brought to a wonderful close.
