About the Book:
Rojita is in trouble; all she needs to do is get to her grandmother in Everland, but she’s being chased by El Lobo, one of the West’s most notorious gunslingers. It isn’t until she’s thrown herself head-long into danger that she realizes the old adage about frying pans and fires applies. She’s in desperate need of a protector, and hires the first man who comes along to get her safely to Everland.
Bounty hunter Hank Cutter is more than ready to retire to a lonely little cabin in Arizona, to hang up his gun and find peace. He’ll begrudgingly help the reckless young woman get to the nearest train station, because he figures she’d get into even more trouble on her own. But when El Lobo struts back into his life—Hank still has the scars from their last encounter—he knows that he can’t leave Rojita at the gunslinger’s mercy. Maybe he’s nobler than he’d thought, because he’s soon setting a trap to save the lovely, impetuous Red. The only problem is that she’s still keeping a secret that could destroy his trust.

Oh My, What a Lovely Story to Read
Hank Cutter is a bounty hunter who is ready to settle down in warmer climes when he finds a horse running across the prairie and sets out to locate its owner. He didn’t expect to find a beautiful red headed woman unconscious and wrapped in a red cloak in the middle of nowhere. Once she awakens, there are more sparks and heat than a bonfire. She thinks his voice is as smooth as caramel and that is how I heard his voice as I read through the sincere, slightly heroic, and hilarious dialogue between him and Red.
As Los Lobo comes into the picture, Hank realizes he has more than a past with the dangerous outlaw. He wants to make sure that Rojita and all of those that she loves is safe forever, even if it kills him. There are a few times that Rojita made me want to smack her upside her head, Gibbs style. There were a few times that I wanted to kick Hank in his seemingly luscious hindquarters just to get his head out of the southern locale. All in all, I was not disappointed at the climax of the story, or with the sweet love story that developed along the way. I plan to crack open the rest of the series to learn more about how the other fairytale characters play out in this unique storyline.
