About the Book:
But they might be making more than that.
Tulsa Thunderbirds goaltender Hunter Fielding has a lot of kissing up to do following a few brash and uncalled-for statements. Now he needs to prove to the watchful eyes that he’s changed for the better. But cozying up to Little-Miss-Perfect-Gone-Bad isn’t his idea of making amends.
Agreeing to marry a hockey star to clear her “bad girl” reputation is the worst idea Oklahoma’s former sweetheart, Tallulah Belle Roth, has ever heard. With cameras constantly in their faces, Hunter and Tallie need to prove their sickeningly-sweet, do-good lives are the real deal—just to Bury the Hatchet once and for all.
But when the cameras are off, desire burns hot. Can fake and just for show turn into something real and forever?

Hotter Than the Sun...
Tallie is in quite a pickle. She was in the running to become Miss USA, but a wild night in Cancun loses her the Miss Oklahoma crown and her chances at eventually running for the title of Miss Universe. No one is more upset at the loss than her mother and her pageant guru, Lance. But through connections of her father’s, she has the chance to earn back her sterling reputation as the darling of Tulsa. But in order to do that, she has to marry a man she doesn’t know while crude manners and the temperament of an angry dog with a thorn in its paw.
Now, I didn’t think much of the book when I first started reading it. But I am glad that I did. Once you get past the fact that Hunter is a huge jackass and Tallie is people pleaser, the book gets pretty heated. It had me laughing, biting my nails, and fanning myself when the sex scenes got so hot they could have scorched my fingers by touching the pages. Their fake marriage gave them the excuse to have sweaty, mind-blowing sex while also dealing with the true antagonists in the story. I most definitely will be picking up the other books in the series to see where the stories take the other members of the Tulsa Thunderbirds.
